This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) is an integral part of our Terms of Service and governs your use of all services provided by catproxy.io (“Services”). Its purpose is to protect the integrity, security, and reputation of the catproxy.io network, our users, and the internet community as a whole. By using our Services, you agree to comply with this AUP. We may modify this policy at any time, and your continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the modified policy.

1. General Principles

You agree not to use the Services for any purpose that is illegal, unethical, or harmful. You are solely responsible for the legality and appropriateness of your actions while using our network. This includes, but is not limited to, the following principles:
  • You must not violate any applicable laws or regulations.
  • You must not infringe on the rights of any third party (intellectual property, privacy, etc.).
  • You must not take any action that harms our Services, network, reputation, or other users.

2. Specifically Prohibited Activities

The following is a non-exhaustive list of activities that are strictly prohibited. Engaging in any of these will result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.
  • Hacking and Unauthorized Access: Accessing any computer system, network, or data without authorization. This includes port scanning, vulnerability scanning, and any form of penetration testing against third-party systems.
  • Distribution of Malicious Software: Transmitting or distributing any form of malware, viruses, worms, trojans, spyware, or any other malicious code.
  • Phishing and Fraud: Creating phishing websites, engaging in identity theft, credit card fraud (carding), or any other fraudulent financial activity.
  • Spamming: Sending any form of unsolicited bulk email (spam).
  • Denial-of-Service (DoS) Attacks: Launching DoS, DDoS, or any other type of attack designed to disrupt service availability.
  • Peer-to-Peer (P2P) File Sharing: Using our network for torrenting or other P2P activities.
  • Cryptocurrency Mining: Using our resources for any form of cryptocurrency mining.
  • Ad Fraud: Using our network to artificially inflate ad clicks or impressions through automated bots with the intent to defraud advertisers.
  • Deceptive Marketing: Engaging in any form of false advertising or deceptive practices.

3. Content Restrictions

You may not use our Services to access, transmit, or distribute any of the following content:
Zero-Tolerance Policy: We have a zero-tolerance policy for any activity related to Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). Any such activity will be immediately reported to law enforcement authorities.
  • Hate Speech: Content that is defamatory, harassing, abusive, or promotes violence or hatred.
  • Obscene or Illegal Content: Any other content that is illegal or obscene under applicable law.

4. Enforcement and Consequences

We reserve the right to investigate any suspected violation of this AUP. If we determine a violation has occurred, we may take any or all of the following actions, without prior notice:
  • Issue a warning.
  • Immediately suspend your access to the Services.
  • Immediately terminate your account.
  • Block access to certain target domains from our network.
Violations of this AUP will result in the forfeiture of any right to a refund.
We reserve the right to cooperate fully with law enforcement authorities or court orders requesting us to disclose the identity of anyone engaging in prohibited activities.

5. Reporting Abuse

If you become aware of or suspect that the catproxy.io network is being used for any purpose that violates this AUP, please contact us immediately.
